Anyone recommend a travel insurer - trip in a few days!

Dh and I are going away for a few days to Italy early next week. Can anyone recommend a travel insurer they have used? There seems to be zillions out there. The price seems to be between £14 and £30 - obviously I want to pay as little as poss but don't want a company who will be useless if I need to make a claim! Thanks.

We buy the tesco pack instore, always seems cheaper than anywhere else, never needed to claim though...

we use columbus direct. five days in majorca for 2 adults cost 16 quid. we didn't make a claim so no idea how they stand really, but they are cheap, and you can do it all online or over phone. they email you with the policy.
