Are we all going to be sat on MN all night then?

Come on someone must be doing something a little different

Nothing, will probably breastfeeding for most of it. At least this will bump you

We did this last year and will go it again this year: had a "Thai" New Year's Eve cocktail party at 4pm, with "midnight" at 7pm, when it was mid-night in Thailand (more or less). Counting down, balloons and streamers, everyone kissing and saying Happy New Year, Robbie William's Angels on the hifi.

All the children just ran riot basically - fed them a good dinner of pizza and pasta so they weren't going crazy on Cadbury's mini rolls or anything.

All the adults were drunk by about 5.30.

Most people left around 10ish - a few stayed until midnight.

It went really well!

Like that idea mp, ususally we are all too shattered to stay up till midnight anyway (gosh I sound old) probably that post Xmas feeling!

Will be thinking of you lucy5 and that sounds like my previous new year!
