Help with Edinburgh holiday

Hi we're hoping to holiday in or nearEdinburgh in November.

Can anyone recommend a family friendly hotel or b&b for 2 people and a 1 year old (ideally with a separate but joining room or section for the baby.)

We saved hard for a holiday abroad but can't go now so budget shouldn't be a problem.

Also any must do things while we're there.

I'd get an apartment if I were you. They are usually the same price but with loads more room.

AirBNB has loads.

we stayed in a very family friendly hotel on Grassmarket overlooking the castle. Had a pool and kids ate free.

That sounds like the Apex International, sailorsgirl. We stayed there too and really enjoyed it. Very good location, views directly over the Grassmarket and the Castle if you get a room at the front. Family friendly.
