Flying away on Saturday

Hi guys. On Saturday we are flying out to Ohio from London Heathrow. Only me and 3 kids. I am slightly worried about being able to get around the airport having only been to Manchester, Stansted, Gatwick and Luton. I am also worried because our flight is 3am where are we going to go and eat. Because it is so big the food may be so expensive.

Heathrow is really well signposted - are you flying from T5? Thats seperate from the other terminals and small.

Food maybe an option as I don't think many places airside open until 6/7 I'm afraid - can you take breakfast bars or something similar with you? Something to keep you going until the plane?

Heathrow is easy to navigate with big signs everywhere. However despite being a 24 hour airport, you may struggle for facilities in the small hours.

here's the link you want to find out if there will be restaurants open:

food is always expensive at airports, regardless of size.

Hi just got up. Went to sleep at 2 pm. Takes ages to get 3 kids ready. On way to airport in about one hour.
