smartline cosmopolitan. anyone got any top tips on must see things in rhodes? just a couple (40's), all inc, hiring a car, want to see everything!
def lindos, want some snorkelling, and a boat trip (tips on which is good?)
how warm will the sea be?
is rhodes town in walking distance? it says 3k on the hotel website but... - you know how they can exaggerate these things in a bad way.!

Rhodes Town is definitely walkable from The Cosmopolitan , you also have a bus service and taxi's .It can be a pain finding somewhere to park in town when its busy.

Have you done much research on Ixia ? Its not the prettiest resort and doesn't have a great beach BUT its a good base , very close to town and you'll have a car .

The best beaches are from Faliraki heading south , we always went to Tsambika and Agathi .

Lindos is either a get there early or leave it till early evening when the day trippers have gone . You can drive down or there are boat trips from Rhodes Town .

Have you booked direct with hotel or through a tour operator ?

Booked via love holidays.
Good tip about lindos will have to look at the times the trips go and avoid then!
Any other tips?
Want to snorkel and also probably find nice walks .

Snorkeling - do you do that yourselves or looking for something more organised ?

StilaOnTheWrongPlane · 13/08/2014 23:29

I know Waterhoppers do snorkelling (and diving) in the Kalithea area .

Snorkeling ourselves. Great Little cove we can park near!( thanks !)

I have no first hand knowledge of snorkeling but Anthony Quinn bay maybe a good one to try .

Oh and Rhodes Town , Ixia and Trianda are full of timeshare with their scratch cards .
