what games might a 3yr old & a 6yr old play together on an ipad without fighting? or is that impossible? should I just load the thing up with video & treat it like a DVD player?

Get the BBC iplayer app and downloads some of their favourite programmes. They can take it in turns to choose which one to watch.

Headphone splitter and a couple of films.

Yes to the videos, no to the games.

Use iPhone for the other one, if you have one?

Our 3yo was quite happy on a recent flight playing with little toys, if that helps?

I would download a couple of films and get a splitter so that they can both wear headphones......a few games like toca boca tea party might would.

You can get an earphone jack that splits two earphones and download some movies

My two (similar ages) happily take turns on the iPad and can choose their own app each time. I use my phone to time the turns (used to be 5 mins each, but little one can now do 10 mins).

Today they were happily sharing it to play one of the Duck Duck Moose games (the one with a truck) and my playhome (which is basically a dolls house app). But they had the option to do their own thing and take turns, they just chose not to.

Get a headphone splitter - please don't listen without headphones - I had a flight with a non headphone wearer behind me the other week - was incredibly annoying.
