Honeymoon in late September

Hi

Can anyone recommend somewhere good to go on honeymoon that won't break the bank? We will have spent out on the wedding but we've got a week off work and want to do something together. Any recommendations? We don't want to spend more than £1000 and want at least half board. The cheaper the better - but we still want something nice. We've not travelled much before so we're open to all suggestions! Looking at departing around 21/22.

Sardinia? The south coast is much cheaper and has better beaches than the glam north part of the Island, have a look at Villasimius it will still be hot but you should get a bargain late September as it's end of the season. You can get budget flights to Cagliari.
If you'd rather do a package maybe Fuerteventura? Good value but nicer beaches and quieter/more romantic than Tenerife/gran Canaria.

Greece/Cyprus are normally pretty warm still at that time of year.
