Hey
We're hoping to go to Florida next yr, but myself and hubby are both not keen on driving, is international drive a good base for us ?? (Thought Disney might be a bit far out ) and if so can anybody recommend some really nice accommodation for a family of 5 -2 adults 3 kids (10,8 & 6 )

TIA

Assuming you mean Orlando for the theme parks? International drive is a good base. We've been a few times we used to stay in either a Disney or universal hotel but now stay on international drive. The I trolley takes you to seaworld and aquatica. Most hotels have free shuttles or you can book a can at hotel reception (no negotiation over price then but they do expect tips on top). There is even a public transport bus that takes you to disney. On e on sure there is disney transport to get to the other Disney parks.

You could of course hire a car as well. I hate driving over there though.

We've stayed at coco keys twice now. As long as your room isn't buy the water park it's not noisy at all. Holiday inn and a couple of other apartment type hotels. All have been clean with a nice pool.

Plenty if places to eat on I drive as well. You can just pull in on your way home rather than eat at the parks.

D'oh excuse the comment about hiring a car.

It really is possible and good fun without a car. We have visited lots of other places such as Busch gardens, the alligator parks and air boats. Also been to the beach all via transfers and public transport.
