Tips for Disneyland Park in California

Need advice on things to do /top tips / best rides for a 3 year old. We will be there for 2-3 nights.

Please let me know what made life easier for getting rides and what your child loved the most. Thanks so much

Not so much advice on rides - me and dh visited on our honeymoon child free, but...
Remember which park you go in !
It sounds ridiculous but there are 2 parks opposite each other. We started the day walking from the car park and entered park 1. Later in the day we went into the park opposite. After a very long day (we stayed to watch the late fireworks) we left the park. We stood in the middle of the 2 parks. We remembered we came from the left direction so off we walked. Half an hour later we realised yes we did come from the left but into the opposite park. At stupid o'clock at night we had to turn around walk half an hour back to the entrance and then another 1/4 of an hour in the opposite direction to the car park.
(I knew I should have waited in the half hour questions for the train back to the car park.)
