Where can I go for my 50th? Winter Birthday.

Hi, just some advice on where dh and I can go for my 50th? My birthday is in January 2016 (planning ahead).

Already been to Mexico, but this time looking at something a bit nearer, Canary Islands/ Cyprus maybe?

Can anybody recommend any hotels? The hotel needs to be all inclusive, around 4-5 star, hopefully somewhere we can go for walks outside the complex, and where we won't get entertainments staff bothering us to join in (hope that doesn't sound awful, we are not old-fashioned, just quiet iyswim).

.....and obviously we want the weather

How about Dubai? lots of luxury hotels and great shopping.

though it would be difficult to find all inclusive. Maybe Egypt? friends stayed at the sensatori resort and said it was fab.

How about Mauritius?
12 hrs flight time but little jet lag.

Center parts in Europe. We've been to a Dutch one twice. We used it as a base for exploring the country, and use the facilities in the evening.

South Africa? Capetown and the coast - beuatiful that time of year and little time difference so no jetlag.

Marrakesh?

Go to see the Northern Lights? Colder but beautiful and memorable if you get to see them!
