Amsterdam in January?

On impulse I've booked a weekend break to Amsterdam in January to celebrate my husband's fortieth birthday. Trouble is I've never been and don't really know hot to fill our weekend or any special surprises I could plan. Looking for any ideas?

We're going later this month for our anniversary. Going to do a canal cruise, Anne Frank's House, Rijkmuseum and a couple of nice meals.

Amazing city. Fucking cold though - wrap up warm!
