So I have inherited some money and will be paying off debt. Probate has now been applied for so I am assuming by October half term I will be in a position to take four dcs away. Dh won't have any holiday.
Any suggestions? Dcs are five to fifteen.

Turkey's still nice then, perhaps a Mark Warner all inclusive holiday in Bodrum? Don't know how much that would be though.

Don't assume you will get the money before October, unless you have definitely been told you will. These matters can take forever!!!

I would look at a cruise. DCs will have lots to do. Can be a bit iffy in the Caribbean then but southern Med could be lovely.

Kalkan in Turkey - gorgeous/safe/usually warm/lovely beaches and beach clubs/ loads restaurants and reasonably priced cafes... Our 5 DC's have been going from when they were 6 to 20 and all loved it...

Haha milly, I know. If we do that's my plan. If not, February.
I'm really scared of cruises after reading about the number of people who go missing each year! But I would love to.
Might have to look at Turkey.

I would go to the Canaries.

Easy for sure. Everything will still be open. Can be cheap or as expensive as you like.

accuweather is a brilliant website. you type in the town and country and it gives you the weather data day by day month by month. if somewhere unfamiliar we always check it out first.
