Hi, I'm wanting to go to a retailer that I believe is still onsite, I live near leeds, so I can drive, but since it's being shut, and online info isn't clear, am I best getting a bus, and if so, which one, just to the centre and can I then walk it, or a train/

Boring question but any help would be massively appreciated!

Hi
Train station is more or less across the road and the best parking is in an area called The Woolshops, which is also the M&S car park.
Bus station is very close as well.
However, I could be wrong but I think The piece Hall is totally closed for refurb at the moment.
I would offer to check for you but I don't live in Halifax any more. My Mum does and I'm sure she said it was all closed.

Blardy hell! There's a gallery that says you pay incollection! I'll have to ring them tomorrow, and see what the crack is.

I am crap at driving in new towns, somight charge my mp3 player and train or bus it!!

To be honest from the M62 jn 25 it's basically 1 road into Halifax and then one left turn and a right turn into The Woolshops - dead easy!
However, as it said the rail away station is virtually just across the road
Just looked online and apparently the Piece Hall closed in January until spring next year for a total refurb.
Is it the glass gallery you wanted? If so I think she is somewhere else now. Can't remember where but my Mum knows as she mentioned it to me the other day. She got me a mirror from her once

Sorry, actually closed until spring 2016!!!

I would get the train. There is a large car park next to Eureka, but it is likely to be pretty busy especially if the weather is bad.

Train!!!!
Avoid the m62 shenanigans!!
Have 20 mins to yourself!!
Avoid confusing drive through Halifax if you miss the tight coloured sign!!!
