Duinrell with Canvas: Swimwear rules?

We are hoping to go here in October. We are muslim and wear a burkini when swimming. I heard that France have a speedos only rule in Canvas sites and was wondering if this also applies in other places, Duinrell particularly?

Thanks

No, we went this April and my husband definitely wasn't wearing Speedos! One slightly annoying rule they did have was that all children below a certain height have to wear armbands, regardless of whether they can swim or not. Sorry can't remember the exact details, but it's on their website. We had a brilliant time and would definitely recommend Duinrell.

Ooh I was wondering about Duinrell too (although I had no idea about any speedos only rules anywhere on the continent!)

loops Just wondering what you do when you are there and how it would compare say, to a Centre Parc (I've been to a Dutch one rather than an English one). What is it about Duinrell that made you have such a fantastic time? What is the accommodation like - is the more basic stuff OK or is it better to upgrade a bit? Or the tents - are they ok?

Sorry to hijack your post Madmum! And thanks to anyone who has any answers Grin

Thanks for the replies. I phoned Canvas and the rep said she was quite sure there were no costume regulations, but that is even better now that you have confirmed that loops

Zipzap apparently in many resorts (esp in France) they have a very strict speedos and swimming cap rule.

Generally Duinrell has very good reviews on tripadvisor, but many said it is the equivalent of a british butlins, a bit rough and ready etc which puts me off a bit, esp being an ethnic minority. What would you say to that loops?
