Next year I will be brave and take the caravan to France. But where?

Somewhere far enough down to be fairly sure of being warm and dry.

But not too far as am a bit worried about towing all that way.

In an area where there's things to do, for a 14yo girl to do. Swimming, either beach or river. Canoeing, zoos. Nice towns to potter round and look at shops, have lunch. Maybe a castle. Maybe some cycling/walking.

Any specific campsites would be good. Don't want rowdy, don't need entertainment. Could do with wifi, possibly a pool.

We went to Raguenes Plage in Nevez, Brittany last year and had a fantastic week.
It has it's own path down to a lovely beach and is close to Concarneau which has a walled town and is a great place to visit.

That looks nice. I'm just a bit put off my Brittany that its not far enough south and might end up with crap weather???

We had a fantastic week in July weather wise last year (we were in a tent and it was too hot to go in to during the day!).
If only we could book the weather with the holiday! :0)

I'll have to look at some average weather stats. Had too many rainy camping trips in the uk to risk paying more for a ferry and getting the same. Thanks.
