where to go on holiday - please help me to decide!!

Hello! Well, we're starting to think already about next year's holiday. It's important to have something to look forward to, after all! We'd like to go to a fairly upmarket (4 star) completely child friendly resort, as our two will be aged 6 and 1 by then. We'd either go half-board or all-inclusive, and it would have to be a hotel - I don't want to be cleaning or cooking on holiday! It shouldn't be ridiculously far away, so more Europe than Caribbean. Croatia or Lanzarote look tempting - arrgh, too much choice!! If anyone could recommend somewhere, I'd love to hear from you. Thanks!

look at the princess yaiza on lanzarote, or look at any 5* properties in playa blanca lanzarote, its a family friendly resort with lots of upmarket hotels.

Also look at Jandia on Fuerteventura.

do a google search on the resorts and hotels should come up.

Find a good independent travel agent who you could chat to, most have visited so many resorts on fam trips and are a mine of information! Avoid the high street chains as they will just sell directionally and you will come out with a thomson or airtours package that may be overpriced or unsuitable, saying that though the Thomson Superfamily range is excellent for young families.

2 hotels we stayed at all inclusive are the rubicon palace in lanzarote.Had 2 holidays there which were great.Last 2 years have holidayed at the Oceania Club in Halkidiki.This hotel is one of best we have stayed at with our ds. We found it was cheaper to book through hotel this year than tour operator.3 sets od friends have also been to the Oceania club and all are planning to return.On the hotel website they is a forum where guests have posted comments.The website is oceaniaclub.gr
