We've an unexpected free weekend coming up, and would like to manage at least one day trip. The thing that makes the children (and therefore us) happiest, is a bit of walking in the countryside, and a whole lot of mucking about in streams - dams, paddling, pooh sticks, etc. Can anyone suggest somewhere within about an hour/hour and a half of Islington that might tick this box? Thanks!
