DH and I are taking DD (2 1/2 years) to DLP for the first time in August. We're staying at the Davy Crockett Ranch with my BIL & SIL and their two DC (12 & 9). Any advice would be much appreciated! Does anyone know where the best place to stock up on food before we arrive is, as I've heard the on site supermarket is expensive? We're taking the eurotunnel and want to stop once between Calais and DLP so DD can stretch her legs, anyone know a good stopping point? Are the magic hours any good as I've read that a lot of the rides are still closed but is that true in august? Thank you :-)

The road from Calais to DLP has many rest areas which are very pleasant - picnic benches, little wooded areas.

Marne la Vallee has a huge supermarket in the town centre in a very nice shopping centre. It is one stop down the line from DLP RER station (about 4 minutes on train).

If you are staying on site I would use the early hours. It is true that not all the rides will be open though. Only about 6 rides always open, but Disney can be flexible. Use Fast Pass as much as you can.

Even if your little one doesn't use a pushchair at home, I would take one to DLP.

Have a great time!

Thanks for the advice MinniesMate. Only 10 sleeps to go!
