Anyone been to Louis Family Resort in Corfu?

My partner and our soon to be 3 year old son want to go on holiday in late September. We're on a budget and Thompson all inclusive deals to this resort seem reasonable. I like the idea of a room with sliding door, also airport transfer time is short and flight times from any London airports aren't too horrific. My questions are whether there is much to do outside of the resort and within a reasonable distance? We don't want to spend our entire 7 days there. Also I don't eat meat and try to give the little one healthy meals - is the all inclusive menu varied and fresh as I don't want him to be stuck with pizza, chips and pasta for 7 days. Any personal recommendations or thoughts would be lovely. Thanks in advance.

No, but I have been to The Louis Grand in Corfu which is the same chain of hotels and couldn't fault it. A very nice 4 star experience, good food and service. Corfu is really lovely.

OK. Many thanks. Looks like we'll go with that one.

I haven't been on an all inclusive holiday, but have been to Corfu twice - both times in late September. The weather was lovely and warm, but take rain gear because they do get a bit of rain at that time of year. We loved it.

It is easy to eat vegetarian food over there as a lot of Greek dishes are meat free anyway.

What part of the island is the resort in?

We went this year with my 4 year old and 1 year old and loved it. Can't comment on outside the resort as I didn't venture out (my mum went on a day trip though and said its beautiful). The hotel itself was really great. Staff in particular were outstanding, hotel staff and also Thomson entertainment team. Food was good, what you'd expect from 4* all inclusive in Europe. Asian restaurant particularly good. Family room with sliding door was good, though not loads of room and certainly not soundproof! We would definitely go back.
