We're going to Paris next week, staying just outside the centre. We're thinking of going to Versailles but not going in the chateau itself because of the crowds.
Is it absolutely free to wander round the gardens and can you pay to get into Marie-Antoinette's farm only? I've seen something about hiring bikes and a boat for an hour.
Any tips please? We'll be driving from about 30 mins away. Thanks.
