Child free holiday... Where would you go??

I've got an amazing opportunity to disappear for 7 days short haul.. With no husband or 4 kids!

I'd be on my own as no one can come with me due to work commitments.

Week commencing 8th September.

Any ideas anyone??

Take a trip to Italy, do pisa, florence, venice, organised sightseeing trips will be easy to sort befire you go or during your stay, grest country, lovely food and so much to see and do! Have a great time wherever you decjde to go, well jel !

I'd do either complete relaxation on a beach holiday with a spa available or a full on trip with loads to see without having to factor in what will keep the kids happy. The trip the pp suggested sounds perfect

Barcelona, great combo of city, culture and beach

My DM went to Ischia, an Italian island for a week long spa type holiday on her own and had a lovely trip. She also did sightseeing.
Another suggestion is a tour with excursions planned in different locations.

I would do something similar to what Milipede suggested - an organised tour so I could be with people some of the time but also with some scope for spending time alone either wandering a city or relaxing with a book.

I would do Copenhagen or Berlin.
