Trying to check-in online for the return part (flying out with different airline) and I'm asked to pay an extra 10.99 Euros each for choosing seats. I don't want to choose seats, I don't care where we sit. I can't do that, I can't check online then, I have to do this at the airport. WTF. So do I spend 55 Euros for us or do we turn up earlier and check-in at the airport. Really annoyed.

Disappointing. We, too, are travelling home with Monarch, so I wonder if we'll find the same...

I've decided to get early at the airport, check in for free and then feed the kids there before the flight. Hopefully cheaper than 55 euros in total and serves a better purpose too. Still annoyed we can't sort it out before we leave the uk.
