Waterloo place to eat?

can anyone recommend a place to eat near Waterloo station in the evening - wine bar, pub restaurant

There's a converted firestation - can't remember what it's called, possibly "The Firestation" (!) just round the corner in the Old Vic direction that's nice. Big tables so good for children with colouring and stuff and good pub type food.
