Where can you get them?

I don't need the clear bottles, just the 20cm x 20 cm bags. I know some airlines hand them out in the terminal but its a bit risky leaving it til then!

I just use Normal zip lock bags available at the supermarket.

LadyIsabellaWrotham · 18/07/2014 21:04

Packet of freezer bags. Poundland or any supermarket will supply, and you'll find the remainder useful for all sorts of things.

I use my own slightly bigger sandwich freezer bags, as I usually only ever do carry on and need a bit more room! flown alot and only once been called out on it. They always have them at the terminal though so you can leave it until then

Finbar · 18/07/2014 21:14

They have to be sealable also don't they? My freezer bags are not

Sandwich bags though..,,

small ziplock type bags will do.

lemonfolly · 18/07/2014 21:22

yep, they have to be sealable

SantanaLopez · 19/07/2014 21:16

If you phone the airport and ask they'll tell you, or check their website.

WeeClype · 19/07/2014 21:31

I flew from Glasgow Airport and had a few things in a sandwich bag, I was made to use one of the bags that the airport provided.

CuttedUpPear · 19/07/2014 21:34

They have to be zip lock and they have to be under a certain size - I think no more than 5 x 100ml containers should be in there.

I had too many last time I flew but luckily was allowed to transfer some to DP's zip lock bag which only had one thing in it.

ilovepowerhoop · 20/07/2014 22:29

press and seal freezer bags or the ziplock type have been fine for us (we went on holiday at the end of June). Bag has to be a maximum size of 20cmx20cm and container sizes have to be 100mls or under.

ilovepowerhoop · 20/07/2014 22:32

medium resealable food and freezer bags tend to be the correct size - thats what we used for our holiday this year

ilovepowerhoop · 20/07/2014 22:33

sorry, think I mean the small sized food/freezer bags, not the medium ones

ilovepowerhoop · 20/07/2014 22:35

these ones worked fine

mydaftlass · 20/07/2014 22:35

We use ziplock bags or the ones the travel bottles come in in pound land. We never check baggage through and transfer everything into little bottles. I have taken loads of bags at once and they seem fine with that.

ilovepowerhoop · 20/07/2014 22:36

you are supposed to be limited to 1 clear bag per person
