Ideas for somewhere to meet up with friend between Brum and West Yorks, I have 5 and 2 yos and she has baby.

I am looking for the above. Probably nearer Birmingham is better because she is a bit dizzy and so more likely to make it if it is nearer her end. I thought about Warwick Castle but it is a bit expensive for her when her 3 month old couldn't care less, and for me, when 5yo DS is going to want to be up every spiral staircase but she is probably going to have a huge pram so we wouldn't be getting the most out of it IYSWIM. I also thought about Twycross Zoo but again a bit expensive.

We did Chatsworth this summer and the kids loved it. But maybe a bit past the season for paddling in the cascade. By the time we get a date it will probably be Oct/Nov.

So any other ideas? Wondered about a farm or country park or something? But also concerned re weather.
