How busy is it likely to be? Looking at what is described as a "family club hotel" and last time we went to similar (near Lake Garda) it was dominated by North European families and the roads very congested. However that was mid August so would last week be any less hectic, if perhaps schools are already back.
Are resorts in Tuscany/Umbria similarly populated in summer ? Any recommendations for companies with late bookings - sc or hotel - in that area ? Ideally with access to pool and not too remote.
