We've booked flights and a car for Gran Canaria - plus hotels for 5 nights in an apartment in Puerto de Mogan, and 2 nights at the Parador in the mountains. Anyone been to either location and have advice for nice day trips and places to eat in the evening? We didn't massively fancy the Playa de Ingles/Maspalomas area, but will probably to a day trip to see the dunes. Enjoy wandering around interesting architecture and hilltop villages, no DC to entertain, but likely to be 3 - 4 months pg at the time (god willing).
