For a family of 5- kids aged 9, 7 and 2, all inclusive, close to beach, short transfer time, 2 bedroomed apt would be ideal.....?

Thanks!

You could try Sol milanos/penguinos or Royal Son Bou Club at Son Bou. Can't vouch for what they are like, as I haven't stayed at either, but the location is ideal, the Sol has direct access to the beautiful 2 mile beach (nudist at far end!), Royal is very close to beach, and both are only a 20 min drive from the airport.

There's lots to do at Son Bou for children outside the hotels as well, including a couple of decent water slides, pedalos, labyrinth/maze and a land train.

A friend recommended finesse villas in Son Bou.

Finesse villas look lovely, but are more of a self catering holiday, no entertainment or kids club. Also they are located at the top of a very steep hill, quite a long walk from the beach, which is fine if you hire a car, but quite difficult with small children if you don't. The views from the top of the hill though are spectacular, and worth the climb!

we went to Insotel Punta Prima in June and it was lovely, all-inclusive, very close to beach and about a 15 minute transfer. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment but I believe they have two bedroom ones as well. If interested it's a lot cheaper to book on the hotel web site and then book flights yourself. We just got a taxi when we came out of the airport.

Barcelo Punta Prima. We booked flights separately and then booked all inc directly with the hotel, worked out cheaper. Also get a family suite which has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The other rooms are very small. It's 20 mins from the airport and 5 mins walk to the beach, you can see it from the hotel entrance. Went last month, really enjoyed it.

We stayed in Royal Son Bou last year and really enjoyed it. Around 20 mins from the airport, right by the beach and has two pools. We went half board and there were lots of cafes and restaurants near by for lunch. We also hired a car for a few days so that we could see some more of the island
