Can anyone recommend a nice family resort in Majorca? We are planning to go early sept, we have one 3 year old and one 7 month old.

Many thanks Grin

Pollenca or Puerto Pollenca. Lovely places - I'm here at the moment with DCs (6,3 and 10 months). Won't be overwhelmingly hot in September but you may get some rain.

Puerto Pollenca or Can Picafort. Both are lovely but it is quite a long transfer if you use the coach, as you have young children i'd recommend a taxi.

We are off there in a couple of weeks.

We went to the Ferrera Blanca in Cala do'r last year. About an hour on the coach. Lovely hotel, right on the beach, lovely staff and good food (we were AI)

Definitely Puerto Pollensa! We have been lots, it's just the best place for young families!

Wherever you are going on the island www.majorca-airport-transfers.com are very good, and will have child seats for both your children. I know they have rear facing ones as we had one for our 13 month old last year. We've used them every time we've been, even last year when we were on a Thomson package holiday - I declined the Thomson coach transfer as I didn't want our three children on a coach with no car seats.

We've been to Palma Nova. Yes it's very close to magaluf - walking distance - but you don't need to see that side. Palma nova itself is a distinct resort from magaluf and has beautiful, safe beaches and a relaxed vibe.

SOrry to hijack the thread, but could you tell me which hotel you stay in posinginmanilla?
We recently went on a couples holiday and stayed in the commodoro, fine for us but don't fancy taking the kids there. We are planning on going next may with another family and we are limited to hotels as we aren't going for a full week and some hotels only allow a weeks stay, so far the best we have looked at is the don bigote, which has terrible reviews in high season ,but not too bad low season. Do you have any idea what it's like?

We have recently come back from the Protur Bonaire Aparthotel in Cala Bona and I honestly cannot recommend it enough if you have small children. We went with a 1 year old and a 3 year old and there is everything they could possibly want there.
The resort of Cala Bona is lovely as well, quaint and quiet but about 10 mins from a livelier resort called Cala Millor.
I was a bit apprehensive about the whole "Family Resort" thing but it was really great.
