Wanted : Lovely Family Villa Complex

Looking for a Villa type holiday for 2 families i.e. 5 adults & 4 kids so looking for 5 bedrooms ideally. Private Pool also.

Is there such a complex that has private Villas but situated on a complex with shops & possibly restaurants & entertainment ?

Spain, Mallorca, Canaries, Portugal - we'll consider these areas.

I would love to hear some suggestions as well!

There are golfing villas in Spain such as El Valle and La Torre -part of the Polaris group-gorgeous villas , private pools and normally have a clubhouse etc. The 'complex' centres though are pretty deserted and not really as full as they should be with shops etc.

We have stayed on a villa complex in Portugal again lovely but quite quiet (which suited us).

Have you tried owners direct - you can search on particular islands and then filter of number of bedrooms etc. I would probably say the best value may be found in the murcia area od spain, maybe torre pacheo or mazzaron.

Look at Monte de Quinta in Portugal. I went five years ago and it sounds exactly like what you want. Beautiful villas with private pool but also communal pools and restaurant.

A friend stays regularly at finesse villas on Minorca. in Son Bou I think.
