Hi wondering if anyone can help we have booked trip to France on the 23 of July till the evening of the 2nd of August but just found out that we have a family function on the night of the 2nd we were thinking of coming home on the morning sailing out of Calais rather then the 19:00 sailing does anyone know how much of a problem it is to change sailings and what are the cost

Who are you sailing with? If P&O, do you have a standard, part flexible or fully flex ticket? Part flex ticket gives you 4hr window of change but you have to pay difference if a more expensive sailing, fully flexible - well, does what it says on the ticket.....

We've often arrived early (or late) at Calais (even by a day) and always got on the next available ferry. Even once when the guy in charge heard my accent and rushed us across all lanes of cars waiting to get in the ferry about to depart as we "had a long journey ahead"! Didn't have the heart to tell him that although I have a Scottish accent, we actually lived in the south if England at the time!!
