February half-term with teens

Can anyone recommend a February half-term break in the UK (2/3/4 nights) that would interest/motivate a 15 and 17 year-old (boy and girl) I'm looking at Centerparcs and Forest Holidays; any other ideas?

I'd be inclined to go for a city break instead. Combine it with an event they'd enjoy, eg live band, theatre, comedian, sporting event.

Depending whereabouts in the country you are:

Edinburgh
York
London
Newcastle
Liverpool
Manchester

Or would the budget stretch to a European capital?

Thanks Jean, I was considering a city break; we've done all the ones you mentioned a couple of times now (we're in the North West.) Museums and hours of trekking and even tube journeys are now met with heavy sighs and eye-rolling (ungrateful buggers!) but to do it combined with an 'event' is a good idea! Things were so much easier when they were young and everything excited them; I'm just aware that we may be coming to an end of these sort of family breaks Hmm

As it's not till February how about somewhere like Paris, Berlin, Prague?

Eg Easyjet to Berlin from Manchester which is one of the cheapest capital cities in Europe, especially for hotels.

Aah, I loved Prague (before kids!); they do want to go to Paris, and Berlin sounds an option too! We usually have a week away at Easter but next year is GCSE and A2s, so want to do something before all that revision begins GrinWink!!! I shall google Berlin! Thanks.
