Best short places for free child places

Just that really ! Short haul destination. Anyone booked or been anywhere lovely- a 4* ish place with free child places? Is it 1st child goes free?

It's just a question of searching dates and departures airports on travel companies web sites. You'll have more luck if it is non school holidays - there won't be many left even for summer 2015. I got one but booked the day the summer 2015 holidays are released back in April.

If you can find one, you get a free child place for every 2 adults so a family of 4 or even 5 would just get 1 free child

Hersetta is right. Free child places for school holidays are hard to come by and they tend to go as soon as the brochure comes out. Summer 2015 holidays went on sale on 24th April this year for Thomson/First Choice and some destinations had no free child places left for August by 9am that day.

They will release some more, but they are never going to be guaranteed and you probably won't know the date that they will be released in advance. Often, they just increase the adult price, so you don't save that much anyway.

Well...ive just booked our summer holiday at a 4 in menorca and pricing it up with jet 2 holidays (you can filter special offers /free child places ) it was more expensive than booking the same holiday through love holidays. In my opinion love holidays, alpharooms and travelrepublic are really affordable. Filter your results to 4 , set your budget etc and by trip advisor rating. Thereare some fantastic deals to be had.

Yes' I'm afraid so if you want one for the school holidays. If I tried to book my holiday again, there is no free child place and the cost has gone up by 800.

If you don't want school holidays then I bet you could still find a free child place for June for example. They may release more but it's then a question of checking every day.
