Berlin hotel recommendation please

Thinking of going for a short break to Berlin - any recommendations please as to the best hotel - probably something near to as many museums/things to see and do.

We stayed in hotel Berlin Berlin a few years ago & that was fine. We also got a (fancy pants, expensive) apartment-hotel at hotel Circus and the staff and apartment were really great. I think they have a hostel too.
