Any suggestions for selfcatering in s/west UK or Spain??

Hi,
looking for week or so of self catering - with pool to keep dd1 and dd2 occupied.

Thought had found a good answer in Hoeseasns, and right by the coast for beach trips, sandcastles etc. but then found raft of hugely unhappy punter's reviews on trip advisor. Likewise Sandy Blls ( had thought that was a made up name... )

Complex of s/catering with a pool ( pool key thing as dd1 loves swimming ) and some playmates for dd1 & 2; or a CentreP*rcs would be fine - just seems bit pricey....

Think happy to go abroad ( not too keen on the flights tho! ) but if it gets us somewhere nice in the sun then fine - just finding a nice complex seems needle in a haystack.

Any suggestions v. gratefully received!
Thanks.

Bluestone is meant to be lovely (and slightly cheaper than CP?)

not sure when you are looking for but we have stayedHERE a lot. they have a swimming pool, farm animals etc. however, if its school summer holidays then they look full on their website still worth a try. when are you looking for and what is your budget roughly?

Have a look at www.bestofwales.co.uk - range of 4 and 5 star holiday cottages all across Wales. A great way to holiday with children.
