My parents are considering staying at the Hotel alba in firenze, florence. They particularly want a place thats very accessable to all the historical sites (and good shopping!!)as my father isnt able to walk for too long, currently. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who can recommend this hotel, or any other that would be very convenient (but ideally not too noisy?!)
Also any tips generally on Florence for them? Poor dad was mugged in Barcelona, and has had one or two other incidents on holidays so would love this one to go well!!
