Passport application times

Hi, I have been told that they are not even looking at pasaport until the 3 weeks are up but you can't upgrade until after those 3 weeks. Been told I should here back off Liverpool by Thursday but if not to ring the 0845 number (which takes hours to get through) they say that they can only upgrade if your holiday if within a week but are prioritising those who travel within the next 48 hours. I hope I get my passport back soon, as I travel on the 3rd, next Thursday! Does anyone have any advice?

Nope I'm in the same boat and we travel on Sunday the 29th :(

Hi, I emailed my local mp who's assistant was very efficient. my application (ds 1st) went from 'not checked' ' not had it 3weeks' to a phone call to take the money for fast track and should be here weds. we travel the 1st.
I'm sure her involvement gave them a little nudge.

I was told it should be here between the 25th and the 1st July. 3 weeks is up tomorrow so will be straight on the phone tomorrow if I have heard nothing.
