Birth cert rules

We have a fast track appointment for dd to get a passport next week. I am a bit confused about the birth certificate rules. It says a full birth cert is required. Her birth cert says it is an extract from the register of births. It is a single a4 page. Is this what is needed?!

Full birth cert will have parents details on it.

Short version only states name, DOB,( place of birth I think).
