Spending money Orlando

Hello,
looking for a general idea please of reasonable spending money for a family of 4 spending 2 weeks in Orlando? This would be just spends, to include food, keepsakes and gifts and a little shopping and sundries , not to include park tickets which is under a separate budget. We don't want to go to mad but don't want to be stingy. is £2000 enough do you think?
The Kids will have around £200 spending cash each by the way of that gives more if an idea, this will include their souvenirs and extra sweets etc
Many thanks in advance

It sounds a healthy budget, the parks are expensive so try to get to a supermarket early in your trip. A pack of 24 waters cost similar to one water in the park. The supermarkets also sell the water spray fans that are double the price in the parks and good for some cheaper presents. Extra charges are parking, petrol and locker hire but no different than day trips here. Cheap disposable ponchos from amazon are good to take with you. Have a lovely time.

I think that sons a good amount, say 100 per day for food and 600 for everything else.

Ah thanks for the replies, I have a little bit of leeway in the budget but don't want to go completely mad, and thanks for the supermarket hints
I appreciate that!

I second the supermarket!

I used the website "The Dibb" a lot before our trip. One of the tips on there was to buy a cheap polystyrene cool box for the boot of the car, and to buy bulk and freeze bottles of water and place around chilled cans etc.

By the time you get out of the park in the heat you get a nice drink of icy water. Which you really appreciate!!

I've budgeted about equiv of 800quid for a week for a family of four (2 small DC), food, souvenirs and a little misc. I know we'll spend more as we are HOPELESS at sticking to a budget.

I am going to the Target near our accommodation to get b/fast and dinner items, and will have our own snacks for during the day. We'll eat lunch in the parks and have maybe 2 dinners out during that time. I thought from last time also that there were water refill stations at the parks? could be wrong on that. We're taking water with us and I'll also freeze some juice boxes for the DSs for cold juice during the day.

Are your DC of the age where they'll want to do the trading pins thing? They sell for $10-13. I went to the Disney outlet and bought a bunch for $2-3 each. Doubled up on them, some even tripled so these can be the ones they swap with. We're not really into it, but thought it might be fun for the DC and a nice souvenir after the trip.

More great tips and it sounds like my budget is about right, the kids are 10 (thinks she is 21) and 20 (big kid!!!) so their ages will meet in the middle for fun and interests.
I am also pretty bad at budgeting but really going to try hard not to bankrupt us all. Thanks again
