Where for self catering in northern France? Things to do for kids

Any recommendations for areas to focus our search on?

Would love to find the holy grail of a private property walking distance from stuff for kids and adults. Pool or beach would be good.

It doesn't exist does it?

Le Touquet is very nice. Honfleur? Berck Sur Mer? I would have a look at Holidaylettings.co.uk or Ownersdirect.co.uk. My sister has stayed at the Pierre et Vacances Belle Dune site and really enjoyed it.

That's great, thanks Porto. That gives me a starting point.

Try houlgate or dinard in Brittany

I second Dinard. It is just lovely.

I know a private house but it is 20 minutes away from Dinard.
