Temple bar is liveliest area for a weekend - there are a lot of reasonably priced hotels, but they are noisy!! There are numerous bars, restaurants and nightclubs in the area.

Guiness Storehouse is great - you get a tour and a free pint of Guinness at the end. Book of Kells in trinity College is worth a look if you're after something quieter. there are quite a few Hop On/Off bus tours as well. Phoenix Park is a nice space if you want to chill and the Zoo is in that area too.

Main shopping area is Grafton St and side streets around it, O'Connell St and side streets also popular.
Like all big cities, watch you bag/purse etc, there are numerous pick pockets at work!

I'm in Dublin right now (for work), and stayed last night at the Trinity City which was lovely. Am in Trinity college right now Smile

Last night we had dinner at The Church which was different

Diep Le Shaker is my fave Thai restaurant in Dublin. Fantastic cocktails, too. Perfect for a girly dinner.
