Juan les pins in august - recommendations for outings

We're staying there for last 2 weeks of august (3 x ds ages 7, 3 and 3). Does anyone have any ideas for day/ 1/2 day trips that will interest my troops? Antibes for a walk around? Phoenix Park in Nice? Ventimigilia to see a bit of Italy?

Grateful for all ideas.

We'll probably spend most of the time at the beach but I'd like a few ideas up my sleeve if people get bored of this.

There's Marineland. Next to it, there is a water park that is quite fun in the summer, with slides etc.

Le Bois des Lutins is fantastic.

No problem. I would also recommend going to St Paul de Vence - medieval town that is only about an hour from Juan les Pins.

Sorry, I meant only about half an hour.

Could also try going to Grasse - in same direction as St Paul de Vence I think. Famous centre for perfume production several of the producers have museums and factory tours which show you how it is made. Can also buy the finished product from factory shop. My two enjoyed it age 7 and 5.

Antibes is lovely and yacht watching is an experience in itself, seem to remember a Picasso museum. Lovely beaches on cap d Antibes too

Go inland which is far nicer than any of the coastal areas which are horrendously busy and over priced. Valbonne is a lovely town with a great Square, Mougins is stunning, Biot is lovely too and has a great glass blowing factory. Grasse for the perfume and St Paul De Vence is full of galleries. If you fancy a slightly longer drive Eze is also stunning. La Napoule beat Cannes is more low key and French and also nice.
