Looking for recommendations; we're meeting up with friends in Greenwich in July. Not sure if it will be lunch or supper, but we'd like something child-friendly, wallet-friendly …. any ideas? Thanks!!

We often use Pizza Express. They cope quite happily with numerous children.

Goddard's Pie Shop is very good!

Saigon is a Vietnamese restaurant that's reasonably cheap. If the youngsters like that sort of thing. According to DD you can't go wrong with crispy duck and vegetarian spring rolls.

In a similar vein, the Tai Won Mein noodle restaurant is cheap, busy and cheerful. There's another noodle place opposite Saigon.

Of the ones on this list I like Bianco though I think it's a bit overpriced.

There is a Byron next to the river, most of the pubs in Greenwich have gardens and are child friendly at lunch time, almost all of them do reasonably priced food. There is also a café rouge. The pub called the union on Royal Hill has a nice garden and a slightly more interesting menu than usual pub grub menu
