Can anyone recommend areas in Italy or Greece that would be good for a holiday with a 3 and 5 year old in October? Many thanks

Well. we are going to Rhodes at the beginning of October with a 2 and 5 year old. It is much cheaper to go then, but the weather is still pretty warm.

We are staying here

I have read the guidebooks and there is so much to do on the island for everyone. Water parks, aquariums etc for the kids and loads of history about castles and knoghts which is interesting for the adults (and my knight obssessed 5 year old!)

We booked through Cosmos, but only as we had vouchers. Probably cheaper to go direct.

I'd choose Italy over Greece every single time

its just a far nicer country

Took DD to Italy when she was about 16 months. We went to Lake Garda. The Italians adore children and she was made welcome everywhere. We soon got into the Italy way of life - long naps in day, staying out late, etc. DD loved it.

I love Italy and would choose it over Greece. However it is generally dearer.

I'd say Italy but it may not be that warm depending on where/when you go. We've stayed on the coast just outside Genoa and it was very child friendly with carousels etc on the promenade in the evenings. Restaurants tend to open mid evening thoguh so they might benefit from a siesta.

I would go to Sicily. Should be very nice in October.
