resort holiday where there is good cycling available?

Hello,

Looking to find a place to please the whole family, good kids facilities such as pool etc and also a location where there is interesting cycling for adults.

Any advice or hints most welcome

In what country? Plenty in Scotland, but are you thinking further afield?

We've just had a great time in Brittany - was a campsite (we did a eurocamp), with pools, bars, playgrounds etc, and great cycling. The French resorts are really geared up for it.

Any country in europe really. Somewhere where the cyclist of the family can have challenges and the rest can relax.

What about the Vosges area of France? We've looked into it for this year but it'll be a last minute thing for us. Check out the Tour de France routes and near two of the stages there, there are fab campsites and the cycling would be amazing. That's why we're looking at it. DH and DD will go and cycle every mountain while I lounge around the pool!!

Germany for all kind from flat in the North to hill and mountain areas. Check Kinderhotels if you want something more resort like in the mountains. Netherlands if you like it flat.

There was lots of cycling on Majorca, easy and flat near Port d'Alcudia and lots of hilly all around. The cycle shops organise tours as well.
