Provence with 9 month old (september) - hotel / villa / gite recommendations please?!

Hi,
I'm getting a bit desperate about this... We have booked eurostar tickets to Provence in late Aug / early Sept, but haven't sorted out where we will stay.
We will be a couple and our daughter who will be 9 months.
We have heard that it is good to have a villa / gite type thing so you aren't confined to one room all of the time (e.g. she sleeps early and you can't escape), but I don't really know where to find a good one that is reasonable value.
We have tried totstotravel, but they only had 3 places which were for 10, so pricey and we will just be knocking around the place. Have looked at some homestay websites, but some are in french and I don't want to end up in an awful place (so need a bit of review / recommendation).
Please, please could someone recommend some websites / gites / villas, or even hotels in the area? We will hire a car so would ideally like 1 week in countryside and 1 by the sea somewhere. We'd like a pool so that we can keep DD cool...

Thanks in advance.
x

Where do you want to be near - which town or city?

I can highly recommend Le Mas Bleu, Salon de Provence - family owned/run gite...totally welcoming to families with babies and small children, small pool (not your exclusive use but there is only ever the owners and occasionally one other guest family on site). Beautiful setting, clean and well run. Salon de p is a lovely characterful small to medium town...local markets, nice kids park, usual shops cafes etc...easy access to bigger places such as Avignon, Aix-en-p, Marseilles...as well as to the smaller villages/countryside.

Thank you for your replies all! I have emailed Le Mas Bleu so will see if they are available. Have also had a look at Homestay and airbnb.
We don't have any preference for where we want to be near, other than we get in to Avignon, and will be hiring a car - I think the max drive we would like to accommodation is 2 hrs away. We honestly aren't too fussed about a particular town (we don't know this area at all!), it's more that we are after a nice place to stay with some villages to potter about in.

hannah DH, DS and I all had a lovely time at Manoir de Longeveau when DS was 9 months old in 2009. Its really well set up for kids with a creche in the day which we used once or twice, a lovely BBQ evening once a week and in a stunning area.
