Formula milk airport security

I know it's probably been asked previously but I need to be sure. Flying from East Midlands 2 hour flight so not ages but not sure what's best to do with dd's milk. Can you pack formula in your case? Then take ready feed cartons in hand luggage? And has anyone been to menorca lately? I'm wondering how easy it is to get nappies and milk out there? Thanks in advance

Pack dried formula in your case. You will need a travel kettle - when European hotels don't provide these - plus flask for hot water and little tubs for the formula when out and about. Pack Milton tabs for cleaning and borrow a pot or buy.

There is no point buying ready made before security as they make you open them. Check on airport website but there should be a boots airside with milk.

I went to non eu country last year with ff baby much more to think of then bf'

Oh nappies should be easier - even in Albania you can get orange pampers

I took pre made bottles through Heathrow, but did have to taste them.

I bought a load of ready made in Boots airside, phoned in advance to reserve them.
You can buy teats to screw on the SMA formula bottles, worth it for the travelling part I reckon.

You can pre order ready milk from boots to pick up after security. I would take nappies, they are generally more expensive abroad. You can pack formula in your checked luggage. I've never had a problem with formula in a little dispenser in carry on. Air stewards will usually give you boiling water on the flight.

Thanks everyone. I'm going to take a ready made with me and if I can't take it through then I'll get one airside. And then take enough nappies for one day in hand luggage and buy them out there as they will use up valuable space in case!
