Long shot here...Nafplio - hotels?

I am looking for a hotel in Nafplio, not too expensive and with a pool...have looked online but wondered if there was a personal recommendation? This is for October

that will be a NO then??

We stayed in the nafplio palace about 4 years ago which was lovely.... all very 70's, but I think it has been done up since then and it might now be a bit £££.... wil try and find a link to it for you. Beautiful view, lovely pool, great breakfasts, but duff £££ evening restaurant with nasty international cooking, best to go to town for it....

Yes I have been a coulple of times but never with dh and the kids. I love it so much and would like to take them now

I love nafplio too, would love to go back.... just found the new nafplio palace hotel website and it is looking very swanky and expensive now.... have a very vague and distant memory of staying in the Byron Hotel many many years ago, definitely cheap and cheerful and pretty much in the middle of the old town.... but no pool I don't think.... sorry, not very helpful....

might be a useful website.... looks as though there are not so many hotels with pools, lots of the townhouse variety. You could always head to Crete otherwise, lovely in October...
