our son is 9 nearly 10 and loves water parks, slides etc... some of the HV are aimed at younger children ie pirate ship, small slides.

What would you say the best one for older kids was, Ibiza looks ok but wanted to go somewhere else

I have a DD like your DS - never happier than when she is in the water or on a slide!

We've done HV Tunisia, Majorca and Benalmadena but tbh the best holiday ever for DD was at the Jungle Aqua Park hotel in Hurghada, Egypt. It was so good, and she had so much fun that we went 2 years running, and are actaully wobbling about going this year because last year was so good that I'm worried we'll be disappointed if its not the same!

If you don't fancy Egypt and are set on First Choice then I'd go for a Splashworld rather than HV - I think HV are fantastic for the under 10's, but not so good afterwards

Rather than HV

www.firstchoice.co.uk/holiday/accommodation/overview/Kusadasi/Aqua-Fantasy-Aquapark-Hotel-&-Spa-030078 - this was great and had a big waterpark that you could walk to within minutes

I recommend the Holiday Village in Tenerife, we went when my son was 11 and he absolutely loved it.

we are off to HV Tenerife at the end of the this month as it has had good reviews from friends that have been - cant wait!

Went HV Tunisia twice as it was good too.
