We haven`t flown for 7 years because of horrible cancer, dh now in remission so we are off! I have no idea as to what we are allowed to take on the flight, I would like to take some food stuff to help keep my cost down! Seven weeks and counting :o

You can only take liquids and 'gels' (moisturiser and the like) up to 100mls and you have to have it in a ziplock bag. This only applies to hand luggage though. You can take what you like in your suitcase.

You can take 'food for an infant' over the 100mls limit but you may be asked to taste it. You can take other kinds of non liquid food in your hand luggage.

the rules are for liquids, gels and pastes. If you have a look on your airport or airline website, they will give all the details.

also where are you going? Some places don't let you bring in food.
